VetCam Instructions

 

A. VetCam Registration
Please fill out the information below. Fields marked with an asterisk (*) are required. When you are done, click Sign up now!

Step #1
Navigate your internet browser to www.vetcam.networkcb.com.

Step #2
Create a "User Name "(Ex:joes@legion.com) Note: Only use alphanumeric characters. No special characters. No spaces.

Step #3
Create a "Password"

Step #4
Confirm your "Password – enter your password again for confirmation. Note: At least 8 characters long, but not longer than 12. Case-sensitive. At least one upper case character and at least one number.

Enter "Email Address "

Step #6
"Confirm Email Address – enter your email address again for confirmation

Step #7
Enter your "Gender"

Step #8
Enter your "Address "

Step #9
Enter "Address 2" (optional)

Step #10
Enter "City"

Step #11
Enter "State/Province/Region"

Step #12
Enter "Postal/Zip Code"

Step #13
Enter "Country"

Step #14
Enter "Age" – please indicate the age group you belong to

Step #15
Click on "Yes or No" to indicate if you are a Family Member of an member of the American Legion

Enter "Branch of Service" – indicate which branch of service you belong to

Step #17
Check Mark I have read the Terms and Conditions (after reading the Terms and Agreement page which is provided as you click on the Terms and Conditions link)

Step #18
Click on "Submit"



B. Login
Access the email address you provided during the registration process. You will find a welcome email sent to from VetCam informing you of your registration completion, a summary of your VetCam account and a link to login to VetCam.

Click on "Login"

Step #3
Enter your "User Name"

Step #4
Enter your "Password"



C. Execute Software

Step #1
Click on "Execute Software" found in the upper right hand corner of your VetCam screen

Step #2
Click on the "Save" button on the "Execute File" screen



D. Account Settings

Step #1
Click on "Account Settings" found in the upper right hand corner of your VetCam screen to review your personal account information

Step #2
Review all your personal account information and Click on "Save Changes" if any adjustments are made to your settings

Step #3
Click on "Change Password" to update your password enter your "Old Password" in the first field then enter your "New Password" in the middle field and enter in the last field to complete the update

Step #4
Click on "Save Changes" to exit the Change Password Screen

Step #5
Click on "Account Cancellation" to only if you intend to cancel your account permanently, click on "Cancel Account" in the "Account Cancellation" screen once you have reviewed the account information

Step #6
Click on "VetCam" at the upper right to return to the original VetCam screen if no changes are made



E. Contacts, Search and Pending Requests Tabs

Step #1
Enter a search term (first name, last name, and/or email address) in the open field in the "Search Tab" to build your contacts list

Step #2
Click on Search below the open field in the "Search Tab" to locate your desired contact

Step #3
Click on the plus sign (+) at the side of the contacts name to add the desired contact/s to your "Contacts" list (repeat to add all desired contacts)

Step #4
A request to join your "Contacts" list will be sent to the desired contact/s for notification and approval, they will need to click on "Approve" or "Reject" in the "Pending Requests" Tab (see actual text in the note below)
Note: The person (Big Foot) has been notified of your contact request. As soon as the person approves your request, you will be notified, and the new contact will show up on your list of contacts. If the person should reject your request, you will be notified as well.

Step #5
Click on "Approve" or "Reject" to build your "Contacts" list from other VetCam users in the "Pending Requests" tab
Note: As soon as the contact approves your request you will see their information in the Contacts Tab

Step #6
Click on the red X in the last column of each row in the "Contacts" tab to remove undesired contact/s at anytime

Step #7
Click on "Refresh Contacts" each and every time you make an adjustment to your "Contacts" list to update your changes before initiating a new call



F. Start/End Video Conference

Step #1
Click on "Start Video Conference" and wait until your picture screen is displayed to begin initiating and receiving video calls

Step #2
Click on the bell in the first column of each row next to the contact/s account information to initiate a call, all video conference participants will need to have their video conference picture screen up and active to initiate or accept a conference call

Step #3
Click on the bell next to the contact/s name for additional participants Vetcam will allow up to 3 participants at any given time

Step #4
Click on "Hang Up" to take yourself out of the conference call

Step #5
Click on "End Video Conference" to terminate the conference call



G. Settings

Step #1
Right Click on the red star VetCam logo at the bottom of your computer screen to view your VetCam settings



H. Secure Logout

Step #1
Click on "Secure Logout" in the upper right hand corner of your VetCam screen to exit the VetCam application

Step #2
Right Click on the red star VetCam logo at the bottom of your computer screen and click on "Quit" to exit VetCam
Note: You may only run one VetCam application on your system at a time
